APALACH NATIONAL ESTUARIAN RESEARCH RESERVE
Located on the east end of the Apalachicola Bay, the Apalachicola Reserve encompasses nearly 250,000 acres of public lands and waters in the Florida Panhandle making it one of the most productive estuaries in the northern hemisphere. A great place for hiking, kayaking, and bird watching, the Reserve has a lively Educational Nature Center that offers an immersive and engaging glimpse into the rich waters and natural resources that abound.
